A Golf Holiday in Ireland

Over recent years, golfing based holidays have been rising in popularity. From Australia Golf Holidays to golfing breaks in Morocco, it is literally possible to travel the world one golf course at a time!

One of the more popular golfing breaks for people from the United Kingdom, are those in Ireland, perhaps due to its proximity. They offer some great courses, and of course, the language is the same as ours give or take!

It is possible to travel to Ireland several ways, either on one of the many airlines flying in, or on a ferry. It may be worth noting, that although some of the cheaper budget airlines have the less expensive tickets, they may want to charge you more for taking your clubs and they will rip you off with extra charges (e.g. £20 to pay using a DEBIT card!).

Depending on what the package offers you, you might need to rent a car of your own, or transportation may be included. If renting a car, you will certainly be able to see Ireland more independently and if you get bored of the gold, head off for a day trip or two. The Irish countryside is legendary for its beauty.

It would be remiss to mention Ireland without a reference to Guinness, of course! Sampling a pint or two is just as important as the famous Irish breakfast. Ireland offers a lot for the tourist and when combined with golf, makes for a perfect vacation break.
