If you are looking for a new experience this year and love the concept of combining a city break with the beach life and the chance to see architecture, museums and go shopping (basically if you want to be able to do it all) then one city you really might want to consider is Barcelona in Spain.

Whilst in Barcelona, make sure to take some time to enjoy the amazing designs os Gaudi including at the Sagrada Familia area and attraction. The marina and sea front area is also certainly worth taking to time to see and visit and makes for a location most people always enjoy.

Make sure also to head to the Nou Camp Stadium to tour what is one of the worlds most iconic football stadiums and which is a tourist attractions in its own right. The Barcelona hop on hop off tour bus will take you to this stadium and also to attractions such as the beach, Sagrada Familia, the marina and to Gaudi Park.

Make sure also if you can, to allow time to visit Monserret, a mountainous area which is roughly one hour outside of Barcelona and qhich provides stunning views. Sitges is another excellent day trip with this coastal town considered to be one of the most expensive and presitgious places in Spain.
