Driving Around Australia in a Camper Van

Whilst caravanning in the UK is fun, especially in luxury models such as one of the Lunar caravans range, every now and again, it is good to travel abroad and have a holiday overseas.

By travelling to Australia, you could actually combine the two if you so desired. Renting camper vans has become quite a popular means of both getting around and seeing the Land Down Under. They give the freedom of travelling at your own speed, with all the independence of having your accomodation where and when you need it.

Australia is a huge country, with many national parks, and these are ideal places to travel to with a camper van for a day or two. There is something magical about parking up under the night sky, with just the stars to illuminate the sky, and cracking open a cold beer!

There are several large companies which offer vans, and so it is possible to pick one up in Melbourne and drive it to Brisbane for example. This means that you do not have to restrict yourself to driving a circular route.

It is advisable to look at prices and perhaps reserve a vehicle before your travel to Australia, as this way you will be able to get the best price. Oh, and they drive on the left as well... Perfect!
