Fall in Love with Ireland

Travel to Ireland has never been simpler than it is nowadays, with dozens of low cost airlines flying in and out, as well as good ferry services connecting it with the mainland United Kingdom. Ireland makes a good holiday destination, as well as a friendly place to move to.

Many people fall in love with Ireland as they travel around it, and then make the decision to either buy a second home there or to move there permanently. This is not just people from the UK either, people from as far away as Australia also make the decision, and it is not unusual to see international shipping australia containers arriving in Ireland!

Whilst Dublin is the capital, and obviously a very important part of Ireland, it is by no means the be all and end all of the Emerald Isle. Its countryside is absolutely stunning and there are many intriguing and quaint villages dotted around the landscape.

Independent travel around Ireland by either bicycle or car is really the best way to make the best out of any visit. This way, it is possible to get off the beaten track and see some of the real Ireland.

Weather wise, Ireland is best visited in the summer and autumn months, although winter visits to Ireland will reveal another side, such as nights spent in small pubs listening to traditional music. Ireland has so much to offer the tourist that you will soon be planning a return visit!
