Travel to Australia during the Winter in Europe

With the European winter drawing in, and early snow fall, many people are looking to take a winter break somewhere nice and sunny. To travel somewhere that there is more than 8 hours of daylight during the day and that it is warm enough to wear a T-shirt and shorts.

Australia seems to be the answer! As the seasons are the opposite of Europe's, for example it is the summer there when it is the winter in Europe, it makes an ideal holiday destination to travel to.

Although a flight to the city of Sydney, may seem a little expensive when looking in a normal travel agency, it does not need to be. There are some great travel deals to be had to the land down under if one knows where to look.

The internet is a major source of information and most of the airlines have a website where you can book tickets. This does not always lead to the cheapest prices though and so it might be advisable to visit online travel agencies to see what they have on offer.

The travel time to Australia is about 24 hours, so if you are planning a vacation for two weeks or more, then this is ideal. The flights are very comfortable and include a meal and drinks. You will also probably watch more films during the flight than you have done in the previous month!
